Our Approach to Business

Philosophy

Our clients are typically facing a difficult time in their lives. Listen to their needs, understand their challenges and offer legal alternatives that maximize their benefits under the law.

Consultation

Offer free phone consultations to understand the client's challenges and to frame legal alternatives for client consideration. Carefully explain to each client what we can and cannot do for them.

Integrity

Bankruptcy is not the best option for all people at all times. Explain potential risks and viable alternatives so that a client can make educated decisions.

Service

We treat every client like family. Be responsive, knowledgeable and compassionate. Develop a sound legal strategy from the beginning and safely navigate the client through the process.

Relationships

We value our relationships. We are grateful for the professionals, prospects and former clients that continue to keep us in mind for those in need of bankruptcy or loss mitigation services.

Pricing

We offer fair and transparent pricing at a discount to general market pricing. The pricing is discounted, but the quality of services are not.

Loss Mitigation Services

Foreclosure Defense

Defending the foreclosure is critical in buying a borrower time to pursue a loss mitigation strategy of loan modification, short sale or deed-in-lieu of foreclosure. A solid defense may also earn the borrower ``cash for key`` or quit title.

Loan Modifications

Mortgage modifications under HAMP typically include 40 year terms at interest rates as low as 2%. If a borrower is denied modification under HAMP, many lenders offer private modifications. The bankruptcy court also offers a modification program that is highly successful.

Short Sales

Avoiding a foreclosure through a short sale is much more benefisial for a borrower's credit. In addition, lenders will often agree to waive deficiencies and even offer relocation incentives and ``cash for keys``.
